ESLP 2017-2018 Spring Project 2 (Round 4 Overall)

Round four of the 2017-2018 Ecology Service Learning Projects officially begins on Monday, April 23rd. Students should be signed up for a project by Friday, April 27th--many waited until the last week of the third round to sign up for that round--don't procrastinate this round, sign up ASAP!

Due Dates

  • Fall Project 1: October13th
  • Fall Project 2: December 15th
  • Spring Project 1: March 30th
  • Spring Project 2: June 1st

Spring 2015 ESLP Projects Are in Full Swing

Many of Mr. Bursch's biology students' Spring 2015 Ecology Service Learning Project projects are well underway. If you are a current student and have not already signed up, visit the sign-up page and then see or contact Mr. Bursch as soon as possible to officially sign up for the project in which you are most interested. Realize, however, that your options may now be somewhat limited because of the late date.

Project Reminders

ESLP REMINDERS

Your group must by now have in its project plan portfolio (collection of documents) working versions of all of the following:
  1. detailed outline of your project,
  2. your project timeline,
  3. your budget statement,
  4. summary report (should be a presentation)
  5. any other useful files / documents such as photos, video clips, drawings, blueprints, graphs, charts, written instructions


THE SUMMARY REPORT: LAYOUT and CONTENTS

Your group’s summary report for the project must include all of the following:
  1. Title slide: type of project, nickname of project, name of team, team members’ names
  2. Summary of objectives (what you were trying to accomplish and why)
  3. Problems and solutions (what was difficult or went wrong and how you solved these problems)
  4. Summary of lessons learned
  5. Interesting photos, video clips, drawings, blueprints, graphs, charts, written instructions


TIME IS RUNNING OUT, but DON’T GIVE UP!!!!
